The scientific and technical journal “Rocket-Space Device Engineering and Information Systems” (the title in Russian is «Ракетно-космическое приборостроение и информационные системы») is a peer-reviewed publication.
The subject areas of the journal cover theoretical issues and the application of the development of devices, complexes and systems for spacecraft and ground stations for spacecraft control, navigation and communication.
The journal has the following topical sections:
— Systems analysis, spacecraft control, data processing, and telemetry systems (2.3.1).
— Space navigation systems and devices. Radiolocation and radio navigation (2.2.16).
— Radio engineering and space communication (2.2.13, 2.2.14, 2.2.15).
— Solid-state electronics, radio electronic components, micro- and nanoelectronics, quantum effect devices (2.2.2).
The founder and publisher of the journal is Joint Stock Company “Russian Space Systems” (JSC “RSS”).
The Editor-in-Chief is Professor, Doctor of Engineering Science, Alexander V. Kruglov.
The journal is registered in the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media (ROSKOMNADZOR (RKN) (registration certificates ПИ № ФС77-55464 of September 25, 2013 and ЭЛ № ФС77-69828 of May 18, 2017). The first issue was published in 2014. The journal is included into the RSCI and has ISSN numbers.
The journal is included into the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications approved by the Higher Attestation Commission (VAK RF), where theses for a scientific degree of Candidate of Sciences and Doctor of Sciences can be published, under No.2117 (as of 07.03.2023).

The publication frequency is four issues per year. Article publication for authors is free of charge.
